Our Children Understand

Children actually have a good understanding of concepts like environment, ecosystems, and climate change. Those concepts are part of their culture and are built into the curriculum of most states.Picture of child embracing the globe

Our children are ready to embrace the solution but have few means at their disposal to make a difference.

This Fundraiser Empowers Children

Our most successful fundraising projects have been based on empowering children to make a real difference. Children understand the need to reduce greenhouse gases, to slow climate change, to conserve resources but they are not often able to have a direct, positive impact--until now.

This fundraising project empowers children to make a real contribution. Project success can be measured in pounds of greenhouse gas avoided. Each compact fluorescent bulb saves the equivalent of 400 pounds of greenhouse gas. There are four bulbs in each package so one package avoids the equivalent of 1600 pounds of greenhouse gas.

While one package, 1600 pounds of greenhouse gas avoided, is significant, most students will achieve far more in terms of self-esteem, real environmental impact, and funds raised for your project.
