Service Lamp to attend the FCCLA National Leadership Meeting
Service Lamp will attend Family, Career and Community Leaders of America, 2008 National Leadership Meeting in Orlando, Florida, July 13-17, 2008. More than 5,000 participants are expected to attend.FCCLA students and advisers gather each July to elect new national officers, receive national awards, compete in STAR Events, attend dynamic general sessions, and take part in leadership training.
This year’s student-devised subject for the annual national meeting is “Excellence Electrified.” Throughout the five-day convention, participants examine and discuss several critical issues, including family, school and community violence prevention, physical as well as financial fitness, future career exploration and countless community service projects.
